Your baby's log is yours.

The short version

• We collect your account details and the information you log about your baby.
• Only you and the people you invite to a baby can see that baby's log.
• We don't sell your personal information, share it for advertising, or show ads.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.
• Feedoo Baby is a tracking tool, not a healthcare provider, and it isn't medical advice.

What information do we collect?

Information you give us

• Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash), or your basic Google profile if you sign in with Google. You can also choose how you're labeled to others, such as Mom, Dad or Grandparent, and a display theme.
• Baby profile: your baby's name, date of birth, time zone and the settings you choose, such as the feed interval and breastfeed estimate.
• Your log: feeds, diapers, notes, supplement check-offs, appointments and reminder settings, plus who logged each entry and when.
• Family sharing: who has access to each baby and their role (owner or caregiver), and the invite links you create.
• Messages and sign-ups: emails you send us, and your email address if you sign up for updates or ask us to send you something from our free tools.

Information collected automatically

• Push notification details: if you turn on reminders, your browser gives us a push subscription address for your device so we can deliver them.
• Technical data: like most websites, our servers record basic request information such as IP address, browser type and timestamps, which we use to run, secure and debug the service.

How do we use it?

• To run Feedoo Baby: save your log, calculate next-feed times, totals and stats, and show it to the people you've invited.
• To send the reminders and notifications you've turned on.
• To manage your trial and subscription.
• To answer your emails and send important account or service messages.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
• If you've signed up for updates, to email you about Feedoo Baby. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Who can see my baby's data?

You, and anyone you invite to that baby. Invited owners and caregivers see the same log you do. Invite links expire after 24 hours, and owners can manage who has access. We don't make your log public, and our staff only access it when needed to support you, keep the service running, or meet a legal obligation.

Who else do we share data with?

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf, under contracts that limit how they can use it:

• Hosting and infrastructure to store data and run the app.
• Stripe to process subscription payments. Stripe receives your payment details directly under its own privacy policy.
• Email delivery to send account and service emails.
• Browser push services (run by Apple, Google, Mozilla and others) to deliver reminders to your device.
• Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect someone's safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy would continue to protect your information. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Do you use cookies?

Yes, but only the ones we need. We use secure cookies to keep you signed in, and your browser may store small preferences such as your theme. We don't use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

How long do you keep my data, and can I delete it?

We keep your data while your account is open so your log is there when you need it. You can delete individual entries yourself at any time. To delete your whole account and everything in it, email hello@feedoobaby.com from the address on your account and we'll do it. Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period before it is overwritten.

How do you protect it?

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords are stored as secure hashes, and access to production systems is limited. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password, and tell us right away if you think your account has been accessed by someone else.

What are my rights?

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to stop marketing emails. Depending on where you live (for example California or other US states with privacy laws), you may have additional rights, and we won't treat you differently for using them. Email hello@feedoobaby.com and we'll respond within the time the law requires.

What about children's privacy?

Feedoo Baby is for parents and caregivers aged 18 or over. The information about your baby is entered by you, as the parent or with the parent's permission. We don't knowingly let children create accounts. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we'll remove the account.

Is Feedoo Baby covered by HIPAA?

No. Feedoo Baby is a consumer tracking app, not a healthcare provider or health plan, and it isn't covered by HIPAA. We still treat your baby's information with care, as described above. Nothing in Feedoo Baby is medical advice.

Where is data stored?

Data is stored on servers run by our hosting provider, which may be located outside your state or country. Wherever it's stored, it's protected as described in this policy.

Changes to this policy

If we make a significant change, we'll update the date at the top and let you know by email or in the app before it takes effect.
